Building a solid playback system controlling kinetic lighting
We were asked to design a tool to generate movement in a kinetic lighting ceiling as well as control video content on stage.
We used TouchDesigner to communicate via DMX protocol and send precise value to the motors as well as RGB values. Our texture-based approach allowed fluid movement and innovative visuals.
